Justin S.
Justin, our owner and operator, is a trained professional. In his tenth year as a MB Certified Arborist, he has the education and experience to complete any tree job safely and efficiently. His training includes four certifications from Arboriculture Canada, including chainsaw safety and cutting techniques, technical rigging, emergency readiness and high angle rescue, and modern tree climbing systems. He always keeps safety front of mind and holds a certification of Certified Tree Care Safety Professional with the Tree Care Industry Association.

At EcoTreeCo, we acknowledge there is no Planet B, so we’re committed to taking care of this one through every aspect of our work. Sustainability isn’t just a feature of what we do — it’s at the core of our company.
Our fleet of battery-powered Stihl chainsaws and power tools are an industry leading green choice. They run quietly and cleanly, producing no emissions and are ideal for both pruning and tree removals. By choosing electric over gas-powered tools, we reduce noise pollution and eliminate exhaust from our job sites.
Our primary work vehicle is the Chevy Silverado EV. This zero emission truck helps us sustainably deliver top-quality tree care. It’s proof that professional service and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
We seldomly use loud, gas-powered wood chippers. Instead, we hand-pack brush into bins that are sent to local composting facilities. Useable wood is salvaged on-site and either repurposed or shared for firewood, reducing waste and promoting reuse.
We climb the majority of our trees using professional rope systems, allowing for low-impact access that avoids the need for heavy equipment. Lifts are only used when absolutely necessary. This approach reduces fuel use, prevents damage to lawns and landscapes, and keeps our operations as eco-friendly as possible.
